We are seeking an experienced corporate lawyer to provide strategic legal support, focusing on contract drafting, review, negotiation, and commercial legal advisory.The ideal candidate must have a solid understanding of financial services regulations and the ability to partner with business teams to deliver practical legal solutions. They will work closely with internal stakeholders and lead negotiations with partners and customers.The key job tasks and responsibilities include:Contracting & Transactional Support: Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including investment advisory agreements, distribution agreements, platform/service agreements, tripartite agreements, NDAs, and vendor agreements.Regulatory Advisory: Advise on laws and regulations applicable to wealth and investment businesses, including SEBI IA, PMS, and AIF Regulations, RBI/FEMA guidelines, KYC/AML requirements, data protection, and confidentiality laws.Legal Risk Management: Identify legal risks in business proposals and transactions, recommend mitigation strategies, review counterparty comments, and prepare detailed legal positions for negotiations.Contribute to the development and implementation of the group's commercial legal strategy and contribute to the organization's general business strategy.Provide proactive, focused, in-depth, business-focused commercial legal advice.The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of commercial law, excellent legal drafting and interpretation skills, sound interpersonal and communication skills, and a high degree of professional ethics, responsibility, and integrity.This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented corporate lawyer to join our team and make a meaningful contribution to our organization's success.What We OfferA challenging and rewarding role with opportunities for growth and developmentA collaborative and dynamic work environmentCompetitive salary and benefits packageProfessional training and development opportunitiesOpportunities to work with a diverse range of clients and projects
