The Role:


We are seeking a Data Platform Engineer to design and build reliable, scalable data pipelines and infrastructure that power business-critical insights and analytics. You will be responsible for developing data models, optimizing data flows, and ensuring the seamless integration of diverse data sources into our cloud platform. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge data technologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to build impactful solutions.


Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for real-time and batch processing using Spark, Flink, or Kafka.
  • Write optimized SQL queries and scripts to support efficient data transformations.
  • Build ETL/ELT workflows and automate repetitive tasks for data ingestion and processing.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines for reliability and uptime.
  • Work closely with Data Analysts, Scientists, and Engineers to provide the necessary data infrastructure for analytics and machine learning.
  • Ensure data governance, quality, and security throughout the platform.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and propose best practices for the team.


Mandatory Qualifications:


  • 2-4 years of experience in data engineering or data platforms.
  • Proficiency in Python, Scala, or Golang and hands-on experience in SQL.
  • Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and data platforms like Redshift, Glue, or BigQuery.
  • Knowledge of distributed data systems and tools such as Airflow and Kafka.
  • Basic understanding of containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
