Accountant responsibilities include:Tracking payments to internal and external stakeholdersPreparing budget forecastsProcessing tax payments and returns Accountant Responsibilities As Per Singapore RuleHandle Accounts Receivable: issue customer invoices, statements of accounts, follow up on outstanding payments, prepare AR aging reports.Handle Accounts Payable: process supplier/vendor invoices, staff claims, ensure correct supporting documentation, make payments, reconcile payables ledger.General Ledger and month-end close: perform bank reconciliations, inter-company reconciliations, fixed assets schedules, accruals/prepayments, prepare journal entries.Prepare financial reports and schedules: balance sheet schedules, cash flow analyses, management reports, assist with year-end audit and statutory filingsMaintain accounting records: ensure accuracy of entries, proper documentation, adherence to internal controls and accounting policies (for Singapore context)Liaise with internal and external stakeholders: business units, auditors, tax agents, banks, clients/customers as applicable. Use accounting software / ERP systems and Excel for data entry, reporting, reconciliation etc.Requirements and skillsWork experience as an Accountant in Singapore should aware rules related TAX,TDS. Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Hands-on experience with accounting software like FreshBooks and QuickBooks.Advanced MS Excel skills including V-lookups and pivot tables.Experience with general ledger functions.Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree.Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus.
