Job Title: Information Security SpecialistJob Description:We are seeking an experienced and skilled Information Security Specialist to join our organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our systems, data, and infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:Security Architecture & Implementation:Design, deploy, and manage cybersecurity technologies to protect our systems and data from various threats.Implement security controls for cloud, network, application, and endpoint environments to prevent unauthorized access and malicious activities.Develop and maintain secure system configurations and hardening guidelines to minimize vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks.Threat Detection & Incident Response:Monitor security alerts and logs to detect suspicious activities and potential security incidents.Investigate security incidents and lead response efforts to minimize the impact on our business operations.Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.Vulnerability Management:Conduct regular vulnerability scans and penetration tests to identify and address potential security weaknesses.Work with our IT/engineering teams to remediate vulnerabilities and maintain a risk-free environment.Maintain and update our organization's risk register to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Policy, Compliance & Governance:Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards through regular audits and assessments.Identity & Access Management:Manage IAM tools and enforce least-privilege access controls to prevent unauthorized access to sensitive systems and data.Oversee MFA, SSO, and privileged access management solutions to ensure secure authentication and authorization.Collaboration & Documentation:Work closely with our IT, DevOps, and engineering teams to maintain secure environments and share best practices.Prepare detailed security reports, incident summaries, and audit documentation to support decision-making and compliance.
