We aim to be where the growth is, enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper, and, ultimately, helping people to fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions. We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of : Consultant SpecialistIn this role, you will (Key responsibilities)Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards.Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow.As a Consultant Specialist you will be responsible to implement CCS/FDS/Seeker business changes.As a Consultant Specialist you will be responsible to owned CS/FDS/Seeker Product and ensure it is aligned with stakeholders expectation.As a Consultant Specialist you will have to maintain knowledge artifacts for CCS/FDS/Seeker/Filenet products.As a Consultant Specialist you will have to help team in fixing issues and removing blockers.Participate in all agile ceremonies.Serve as advisor, Mentor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary.Work with the team on the technical aspects of customer requirements and help team in implementing new solutions.As a Consultant Specialist learn new technologies as per business need and cascade information to team and junior staff.As a Consultant Specialist take complete ownership of delivery you are part of.As a Consultant Specialist participate in code reviews and other quality and automation opportunity in the team.This position will be responsible for the technical liaising with the Development team to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of application initiatives, including enhancements, upgrades, migrations, as well as back-end operational support and maintenance of CCS/FDS/Seeker/Filenet Application.Skills & ExperienceBachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or Equivalent.Knowledge on Search and OCR tools/application.Knowledge of CCS, Seeker, Filenet apps2+ years' experience as an individual contributor or module lead.Awareness of Core Spring / Spring Boot, Integration technologies: REST/MQ/XML/SOAP/JSONAwareness of Jenkins, Git, SonarQube.Understanding with RESTful API designsAwareness of Database/Stored Procedure/SQL development (any of these DB2 UDB, Oracle, Sybase etc.)Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to deliver technical messages to a non-technical audienceEffective communication, collaboration, team, and presentation skills with a proven ability to operate effectively in a fast moving environment are essential.Ability to guide people to implement the right solutionYou'll achieve more when you join HSBC. HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
