This is a "hands-on leadership role" suited for someone who thrives in an "entrepreneurial environment", enjoys creating structure from scratch, and is eager to drive cloud adoption and innovation for clients. In summary, ambitious to be the CEO of a practice.Key ResponsibilitiesEstablish and grow the AWS practice, including defining differentiated service offerings, delivery frameworks, and go-to-market strategy.Lead cloud engineering initiatives, pre-sales technical/marketing support, solution design, and implementation using AWS services.Build a small, high-performing team of AWS professionals over time and mentor them for excellence.Collaborate with sales and business leaders to identify opportunities, support pre-sales, and contribute to proposal development.Enhance the brand equity of Practice through internal and external communication channels e.g. LinkedIn.Stay current with AWS technologies, tools, and certifications to ensure the practice remains at the forefront of innovation.RequirementsAround 10 years of experience in IT, with strong hands-on experience in AWS cloud engineering, architecture and Open Innovation.Proven ability to design, implement, and manage AWS-based solutions across AWS infrastructure, DevOps and Open-source Stack.Experience supporting sales/marketing and in delivering solutions to external clients.Experience in building or scaling a cloud practice or related competency is highly desirable.AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or equivalent) preferred.Strong communication, leadership, and entrepreneurial mindset.Why Join UsThis is a unique opportunity to build something from scratch - shaping a new AWS + Open Innovation practice, influencing its direction, and driving meaningful impact in a growing technology consulting organization.Should you be interested in this career opportunity, please send in your resume, in confidence, to HR@SCIENTE.COMTo know more about us, please visit https://www.sciente.com.
