Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Specialist to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SEO and a passion for optimizing website performance to drive higher conversion rates. This role involves analysing user behaviour, testing various strategies, and implementing data-driven changes to improve key performance indicators (KPIs), including lead generation, sales, and other conversion metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
Website Optimization:
Implement and oversee SEO strategies focused on increasing conversion rates.
Conduct website audits and identify opportunities to improve user experience (UX) and performance.
Optimize landing pages, product pages, and CTAs (calls to action) for maximum conversion.
Conversion Rate Analysis:
Use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hot jar, Crazy Egg) to assess user behaviour and identify drop-off points.
Analyse key metrics such as bounce rate, exit rate, and time on page to detect improvement opportunities.
A/B Testing & Experimentation:
Design, implement, and analyse A/B and multivariate tests for different website elements (e.g., CTAs, page layouts, copy, and forms).
Use results to iterate and improve site performance continuously.
User Journey Mapping:
Analyse the user journey from initial interaction to conversion, identifying and eliminating friction points.
Develop strategies to improve the overall customer experience and align it with conversion goals.
Collaborate with Content and Design Teams:
Work closely with the content, design, and development teams to ensure all website elements are optimized for SEO and conversions.
Provide recommendations for content creation that aligns with search intent and conversion objectives.
Reporting & Data Analysis:
Track, measure, and report the effectiveness of optimization efforts using data-driven insights.
Create and present regular performance reports and actionable insights to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in SEO and CRO with a strong understanding of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
Proficiency in A/B testing and multivariate testing tools (e.g., Optimizely, Google Optimize).
Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and experience working with designers to optimize conversion points.
Experience with user journey mapping, funnel analysis, and website heatmaps.
Ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic coding concepts (optional but beneficial).
Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Data-driven mindset with a focus on ROI and improving KPIs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in e-commerce or lead generation.
Certification in Google Analytics or a similar analytics platform.
Familiarity with marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo) and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce).
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Increased conversion rates on targeted pages.
Reduction in bounce rates and exit rates.
Higher engagement on calls-to-action (CTAs).
Improved user retention and reduced drop-offs in the sales funnel.
This role focuses on optimizing both SEO strategies and website elements to maximize user engagement and conversion.
