You will be responsible for creating and maintaining automated test scripts using Cypress and JavaScript, ensuring seamless application functionality and performance.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop automated test scripts using Cypress and JavaScript, working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution of defects.Execute comprehensive automated test suites to validate application features and requirements, providing detailed reports on test coverage and quality.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in test automation, driving continuous improvement efforts.Analyze test results and identify areas for improvement, documenting and tracking defects for prompt resolution.Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data, ensuring high-quality output.Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contributing to project planning and execution, and providing feedback on test code quality and best practices.Requirements:Proven experience in developing automated test scripts using Cypress and JavaScript, with a strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and document defects, and collaborate with development teams for resolution.Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to drive project success.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and their application in software development.Proficiency in coding languages such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and tools.Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
