Job Title: Senior Kubernetes Engineer  Location: Bangalore (Hybrid) Job Type: Full-Time We’re hiring a Senior Kubernetes Engineer to architect, optimize, and scale cloud-native infrastructure while leading high-impact DevOps initiatives across our engineering teams. What you'll do • Architect, deploy, and manage highly available Kubernetes clusters across cloud and hybrid environments • Lead the design of scalable microservices infrastructure , ensuring reliability, security, and performance • Implement advanced GitOps workflows , CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment strategies • Optimize cluster performance, autoscaling, workloads, networking, and resource utilization • Establish security standards including RBAC, workload isolation, network policies, encryption, and compliance • Troubleshoot complex distributed-system issues and guide teams through production incidents • Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, Cloud, and Platform Engineering teams to standardize best practices • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal documentation, processes, and playbooks • Evaluate new cloud-native technologies and drive adoption across engineering teams What We're Looking for: • 03–05+ years of hands-on experience managing Kubernetes in production at scale • Deep understanding of container orchestration , distributed systems, and microservices • Strong experience with managed Kubernetes services (EKS, AKS, GKE) or self-managed clusters • Expertise in Linux, networking, DNS, load balancers, service mesh (Istio/Linkerd) • Solid understanding of CI/CD , GitOps (ArgoCD/Flux), and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/Helm) • Strong debugging skills for nodes, workloads, networking, performance, and cluster-level issues • Exposure to site reliability engineering (SRE) best practices • Knowledge of cloud-native ecosystems — Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Jaeger, Nginx Ingress, etc. • Experience leading projects, mentoring engineers, and handling production escalations About the Company: CloudZenia is an IT services company specializing in Managed DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Migration, Backup & DR, Security Solutions, and Managed Services.
