Job Title: Senior Backend DeveloperWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Backend Developer to join our team.Job DescriptionThis is a part-time, remote freelance/contract role as a Senior Backend Developer with expertise in Java and PHP, with over 9 years of experience.The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and deploying backend applications using Java and PHP, implementing microservices architecture, and utilizing the Spring Framework to create efficient, scalable solutions.Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Laravel/Symfony and Spring Boot.Collaborate with frontend developers and product teams to deliver high-quality applications.Build RESTful APIs and ensure seamless integration between services.Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.Optimize performance and troubleshoot complex application issues.Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning.Integrate third-party services and APIs as required.Technical Skills Required:Core:Strong proficiency in PHP (Laravel or Symfony)Solid experience with Java (Spring / Spring Boot)Strong understanding of OOP, MVC architecture, and design patternsAdditional Skills:Good knowledge of MySQL / PostgreSQLExperience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and microservice architectureFamiliarity with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (React / Vue preferred)Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DockerKnowledge of AWS / Azure / GCP is a plusUnderstanding of unit testing and automated testing frameworks
