Our practical and comprehensive approach accelerates green innovation and sustainability.THE ROLE:We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrical Engineer with proven experience in medium to high-voltage electrical systems, particularly for outdoor and agricultural applications. The role involves designing, testing, installing, and maintaining electric fencing solutions aimed at safely deterring animals (wild & domestic) from farmland, plantations, and rural assets.The ideal candidate will understand both safety and regulatory compliance, power distribution, and rural environmental challenges while being comfortable working hands-on in field conditions.THE CANDIDATE:The ideal candidate is both a self-motivated individual and a positive team player who is ready to learn new skills and inspired to innovate new products/services . We are hiring extremely energetic, honest, hard-working and committed individuals who bring learning, experimentation and continuous improvement mindset.Educational BackgroundBachelor’s Degree/ Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related fieldAdvanced Degrees/Diploma (Optional): A Master’s in Electrical/ Renewable Energy, Acoustics, or Electronics Systems can be an advantage.Role and Responsibilities :Innovation and Research· Develop new electronics/electrical products or improve existing designs.· Prior Research and Development (R&D) experience in agricultural products to scare animals, birds, insects and snakes. Design & Development· Develop safe, effective medium-high voltage electric fencing systems tailored for agricultural use.· Design circuit systems, controllers, grounding mechanisms, pulse generators, and protective systems.· Improve efficiency, reliability, and safety of current systems.Testing and Troubleshooting· Conduct site surveys and feasibility assessments.· Carry out prototyping, power output testing, and performance optimization.· Perform system diagnostics to identify and resolve electrical, electronics and hardware issues.· Conduct performance tests and reliability assessments.· Implement improvements for better functionality and efficiency.Solar Panel Expertise:-- Understanding of photovoltaic (PV) systems, including design and optimization.-- Experience with MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) and inverters.-- Knowledge of solar energy storage systems and battery technologies.Sound Technology:-- Knowledge of audio signal processing, acoustics, and sound reproduction systems.-- Characteristics of acoustics and sound waves including Wavelength, Pitch, Frequency, Amplitude, -- Intensity of sound power (measured in Decibels). ·Sound devices emitting unsettling ultrasonic waves in highly desirableOperation & Maintenance-- Establish safety standards, operating procedures, and preventive maintenance protocols.-- Diagnose and troubleshoot system failures on-site and remotely.-- Train farmers, technicians, and field teams on safe operation.-- Supervise installation and commissioning at remote agricultural sites. Duration: 6-9 Months contract with strong possibility of extensionExperience· At least 2-5 years of hands-on experience in electrical and electronics· Hands-on experience in prototyping and testing electrical and solar systems.· Experience with renewable energy standards and acoustic regulations.· Basics of electrical and power electronics for interfacing solar systems and fencing machines.· Noise reduction techniques in sound and solar applications.· Awareness of environmental standards for electrical, solar installations and sound systems.Soft Skills· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.· Good communication and teamwork abilities, especially when coordinating multidisciplinary teams.· Project management skills for overseeing design, development, and implementation.· Attention to detail and precision in designWe provide best-in-class learning opportunities, best-in-industry compensation and abundant opportunities for career growth coupled with Fast-track promotions (every 9-12 months) for high performers.
