Job Title:Senior Electrical Commissioning EngineerThe Senior Electrical Commissioning Engineer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful installation, testing, and energization of electrical systems. Key responsibilities include leading commissioning activities for solar PV systems, performing pre-commissioning inspections, functional testing, performance verification, and system start-up.Key Responsibilities:Commissioning & Electrical Testing:Lead the commissioning of solar PV systems, including inverters, transformers, MV/LV switchgear, trackers, and SCADA systems.Perform pre-commissioning inspections, functional testing, performance verification, and system start-up.Execute energized testing, grid synchronization, and power performance evaluations.Coordination & Project Management:Coordinate commissioning schedules, resources, and activities with contractors, subcontractors, and utility personnel.Facilitate communication between engineering, construction, QA/QC, and O&M teams.Documentation & Reporting:Prepare commissioning plans, detailed test procedures, and method statements.Maintain accurate test records, inspection checklists, NCRs, as-built documentation, and punch lists.Safety & Compliance:Enforce safety procedures during commissioning, including LOTO, arc-flash precautions, and start-up safety protocols.Required Skills & Qualifications:Technical Skills:Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings (SLDs, schematics, wiring diagrams).Proficient with electrical testing tools: multimeters, insulation testers, relay testers, IV curve tracers, thermal imagers, etc.Soft Skills:Excellent planning, coordination, and communication skills.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Benefits:This role offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for professional growth and development.
