Job DescriptionAs a technical support specialist, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver top-notch support for web and mobile applications. Your primary responsibility will be to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.Provide exceptional support to internal and external users, including customer service teams and clients/partners.Communicate and coordinate feedback/input to the development team.Work closely with QA leads to ensure seamless quality assurance processes.Troubleshoot technical issues with minimal support from the development team.Engage with internal and external customers to quickly understand problems and propose effective solutions.Develop workarounds when fixes are not immediately available.Offer timely and accurate customer feedback.Follow up with clients to ensure problems are resolved.Support new application roll-outs and provide ongoing maintenance.Document procedures and develop knowledge base content.Manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining high levels of productivity.Test and evaluate new releases to ensure they meet the required standards.RequirementsBachelor's degree in computer science or information technology.Availability to work during US hours (9 am to 6 pm central time).3-5 years of experience in tech support for web-based business applications and mobile interfaces.Strong working knowledge of Linux, Java, JavaScript, MySQL, and AWS.Proficiency in browser-based debugging, JSON format, REST APIs, database queries, and logs.Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software.Familiarity with ticket management tools like Clickup, Jira, and Trello.Experience with texting and communication-based applications is a plus.Certifications in Linux, Java, web development, and AWS are desirable but not required.Ability to leverage AI tools for daily tasks.Development mindset to scale into a developer role with minimal training.Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
