GCP Cloud Engineer

● Cloud Architecture & Landing Zones: ○ Implement GCP landing zones following enterprise best practices and Google Cloud Adoption Framework ○ Establish foundational cloud architecture including folder hierarchy, billing structure, and resource organization ○ Create and maintain infrastructure blueprints and reference architectures for multi-environment deployments ○ Develop and enforce cloud governance frameworks and architectural standards ● Networking & Connectivity: ○ Design and implement complex VPC architectures including shared VPCs, VPC peering, and multi-region networking ○ Configure and manage Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud CDN, and traffic management solutions ○ Implement hybrid connectivity solutions using Cloud VPN, Cloud Interconnect, and Partner Interconnect ○ Design network security architectures including firewall rules, network tags, and micro-segmentation strategies ○ Troubleshoot complex networking issues and optimize network performance ● Security & Compliance: ○ Implement comprehensive security frameworks including defense-in-depth strategies ○ Design and manage encryption strategies for data at rest and in transit ○ Configure and maintain security monitoring and logging using Cloud Security Command Center ○ Implement DLP policies, vulnerability scanning, and security compliance frameworks ○ Establish incident response procedures and security automation workflows ● Identity & Access Management: ○ Design and implement enterprise IAM strategies including role-based access control (RBAC) ○ Configure and manage Cloud Identity, workforce identity federation, and workload identity federation ○ Implement least-privilege access principles and regular access reviews ○ Manage service accounts, custom roles, and organizational policies ○ Integrate with existing identity providers and implement SSO solutions ● Organizational Policies & Governance: ○ Implement resource hierarchy governance including folders, projects, and billing accounts ○ Configure and maintain policy inheritance and exception handling ○ Establish cost management policies and budget controls ○ Implement compliance frameworks for various regulatory requirements ● Required Qualifications: ● Technical Skills: ○ 7-10 years of cloud infrastructure experience with 4+ years focused on Google Cloud Platform ○ Expert-level knowledge of GCP networking services (VPC, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud Armor, etc.) ○ Deep understanding of GCP security services and best practices ○ Extensive experience with GCP IAM, organizational policies, and resource hierarchy ○ Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager) ○ Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and security principles ● Certifications (Preferred): ○ Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect ○ Google Cloud Professional Cloud Security Engineer ○ Google Cloud Professional Cloud Network Engineer ● Experience Requirements: ○ Proven track record of implementing large-scale GCP environments for enterprise organizations ○ Experience with landing zone implementations and cloud adoption strategies ○ Background in network architecture and security design ○ Experience with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, PCI DSS, HIPAA, etc.) ○ History of collaborating with security, compliance, and governance teams please mention: CTC- ECTC- Total- yr of experince- GCP- NP- LWD- Only apply if you are an immediate joiner and willing to relocate to Pune.
