Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Voice Engineer L2 with expertise in Cisco technologies to join our team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in designing, implementing, and supporting Cisco voice and telephony systems. This role involves ensuring the stability and integrity of our Cisco-based voice services and infrastructure, providing advanced troubleshooting, and collaborating with other IT teams to enhance our communication systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Cisco Voice System Maintenance: Maintain and support the organization's Cisco voice infrastructure, including Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco Unity Connection, and Cisco Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX).
- Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and deploy Cisco voice hardware and software solutions, including call managers, gateways, and related equipment.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex Cisco voice and telecommunication issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- System Upgrades: Plan and execute system upgrades and patches for Cisco voice systems to ensure they remain current and secure.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of Cisco voice infrastructure, configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Collaboration: Work closely with network engineers, system administrators, and other IT staff to integrate Cisco voice solutions with other technologies.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Security: Implement and maintain security measures to protect Cisco voice infrastructure from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
- User Support: Provide second-level support for user issues, escalating to higher-level engineers or Cisco TAC as necessary.
- Training: Train and mentor junior voice engineers and support staff on Cisco voice technologies.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in voice engineering, with a strong focus on Cisco voice and telephony systems.
- Certifications: Relevant Cisco certifications such as CCNP Collaboration, CCNA Collaboration, or similar are highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco voice hardware and software, including CUCM, Unity Connection, UCCX, and Cisco IP Phones.
