Software Test Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a meticulous and proactive QA Engineer to join our Fintech product team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manual and automated testing, a strong understanding of financial systems, and a passion for delivering highquality, secure, and reliable software. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for mobile and web applications. • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure test coverage. • Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA or similar. • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Appium, Postman, or similar. • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards relevant to Fintech (e.g., PCI-DSS, KYC, AML). • Participate in release planning and provide QA sign-off for production deployments. • Continuously improve QA processes and contribute to best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications: • 3–4 years of experience in software testing, with at least 1–2 years in Fintech or BFSI. • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. • Experience in both manual and automated testing. • Familiarity with testing APIs, mobile apps, and web platforms. • Understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication and documentation abilities.
