Vice President Data Management Delivery Leader Span of Control: 1000+ team (direct and indirect) Reports to: Data management SGU Business leader (SVP) Positions reporting into this role: Engineering leads, senior managers, AVP, SAVP Responsibility Level: VP2 Location: India, Pune/Delhi NCR Important - Need People only from IT services companies or Sytem Integrators or information technology services, consulting, and outsourcing company. Those who have managed large clients or key accounts, handled team sizes more than 600 people minimum, In past have experience of Leading the Data Practice Primary Responsibilities Will be responsible for in leading and overseeing end-to-end delivery of Data Management delivery practice with a revenue span of $100M+ and team span of 1000+, encompassing Data Engineering, Data Migration, Data Modernization, and Data Governance projects. Proven track record of ensuring delivery excellence through well-defined methodologies, standardized practices, and quality assurance frameworks. This also includes proactively embedding data IP and solutions with existing and new client opportunities. Data Management Delivery Leadership Lead end-to-end delivery of data management projects, ensuring scope, timeline, and quality objectives are consistently met. Oversee multiple concurrent programs and ensure alignment with business and IT strategies. Ensure delivery frameworks and methodologies are properly applied across all data initiatives Oversee the design and implementation of modern data platforms for clients Client and Stakeholder Management for Data Management Delivery Mandate Serve as the key point of contact for client’s senior business and technical stakeholders. Communicate overall delivery status, risks, and value delivered in a clear and actionable manner to leadership Align project delivery with evolving business priorities and strategic goals. Data strategy Lead data strategy creation and implementation that helps the organization to effectively collect, manage, use, and protect its data to support business goals and drive value. Collaborate with stakeholders to define and maintain a clear data roadmap that outlines future data capabilities, technology adoption, and process improvements. Technical Leadership Lead architecture & design: Define scalable and secure data architecture for data pipelines, warehousing, and processing systems. Technology Selection: Evaluate and recommend appropriate tools, platforms (e.g., Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Snowflake), and cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure). Code Review & Best Practices: Enforce coding standards, review pull requests, and mentor team members on clean and efficient code. Proposals and contracts: Lead the development and management of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Statements of Work (SOWs) for data management projects. Ensure all proposals and contracts meet organizational standards and client requirements. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience in winning and delivering accounts within the data management domain or similar industries. 20+ years of experience in data-related project delivery, including 10+ years in a leadership or delivery management role. Strong knowledge of data engineering, data warehousing, data lakes, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), and data governance frameworks. Experience with Agile, Scrum, and/or hybrid project management methodologies. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. Apply - prashant@vrindaglobal.com
