Job Title: Financial ControllerJob Summary:The successful candidate will oversee and manage the financial accounting functions within a construction company. This role requires a deep understanding of construction accounting principles, financial management, and compliance.This includes accurate financial reporting, maintaining fiscal discipline, and supporting the overall success of construction projects.Responsibilities:Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.Prepare and analyse monthly and quarterly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Evaluate and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.Manage the yearly audit and tax compliance process, ensuring all information is complete, accurate and available for tax preparers and auditors.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):Accurate and timely financial reporting.Maintenance of adequate internal controls.Effective management of financial resources.Requirements:CA / CPA with 8-10 years of experience in the real estate / construction industry.Highly organized with strong attention to detail and quality of deliverables.Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to demonstrate critical thinking skills in decision making.Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
