Software Tester Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled software tester to play a key role in ensuring the highest quality standards of our products.The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress and JavaScript. They will execute automated test suites to validate application functionality and performance. Additionally, they will identify, document, and track defects, and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop automated test scripts using Cypress and JavaScript.Execute automated test suites to validate application functionality and performance.Identify, document, and track defects, and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application features and requirements.Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data.Perform code reviews and provide feedback to ensure test code quality and best practices.Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on test coverage, defects, and overall quality.Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Proven experience in QA automation with a focus on Cypress and JavaScript.Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.Experience with CI/CD tools and integrating automated tests into the build process.Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team and contribute to delivering high-quality software products.
