As an Engineering Manager, you will set direction and long-term goals for the team, partnering with product, business, and other stakeholders to achieve success.The teams work on various products and platforms powering our ecosystem. You will lead the way for your team to evangelize ideas, provide technical leadership, and facilitate the platformization of systems across the ecosystem.Key Responsibilities:Build, lead, develop, and provide hands-on leadership for top-notch engineers and leadsCreate clear career paths for team members, offering regular and deep mentoring, and attract and retain top talentDrive strategy and vision across teams in a rapidly evolving environmentWork closely with diverse stakeholders, enabling them by providing scalable and quality technology solutionsFoster a strong team culture of responsiveness by leading by example and owning decision-making around prioritization for better predictabilityRequirements:To succeed in this role, you should have:• B.Tech, M.tech or similar qualification with at least 10+ years of experience in building cutting-edge products, including 2+ years in people management• Good understanding of technology and architecture in a highly scalable and available setup• Strong experience handling large data (batch and real-time), workflows and scheduling, building pluggable frameworks and systems, strong abstraction, and design skills• Proven track record of delivering high-quality products, familiarity with multiple software development practices and tools• Strong partnership with product and business teams demonstrating effective collaboration and communication across multiple stakeholders
