Job Description: Murex Test Consultant

Experience Range: (4-8) Years

Work Location: Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi/NCR, Pune & Mumbai.


Responsibilities:

  • Test Case Design and Execution:
  • Create detailed and effective test cases based on functional and technical specifications.
  • Execute test cases manually and/or through automated testing tools, ensuring thorough coverage.


Defect Reporting and Tracking:

  • Identify, document, and report software defects and issues.
  • Work closely with developers to understand, reproduce, and prioritize reported issues.


Regression Testing:

  • Conduct regression testing to ensure that new features or changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
  • Implement and maintain regression test suites for banking applications.


Performance and Security Testing:

  • Perform performance testing to evaluate system responsiveness, stability, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with security experts to conduct security testing and ensure compliance with industry standards.


Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and ensure testing meets business needs.
  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to provide test progress and results.


Documentation:

  • Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and testing processes.
  • Contribute to the creation of user manuals and training materials.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a QA Tester, preferably in the banking or financial sector.
  • Familiarity with testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Experience with test automation tools is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
