ServiceNow Developer Role OverviewJob Description:As a ServiceNow developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions across ITSM modules. This includes creating custom applications, integrations, and REST/SOAP web services within the ServiceNow platform.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions across ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, CMDB, etc.)Configure UI Policies, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Workflows, Flow Designer, and Service Catalog itemsDevelop and maintain custom applications, integrations, and REST/SOAP web services within the ServiceNow platformPerform system upgrades, patches, and ensure platform stability and performanceCollaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality implementationsWork with the ServiceNow platform owner to enforce governance, security, and compliance standardsTroubleshoot and resolve application issues and provide technical supportCreate and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, user guides, and SOPsIntegrate ServiceNow with third-party systems and toolsRequired Skills & Experience:4+ years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer working on ITSM modulesStrong proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow Script IncludesExperience with Service Portal, Flow Designer, Catalog Builder, and Workflow EditorDeep understanding of ITIL processes and their implementation in ServiceNowExperience with REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server integrations, and third-party tool integrationsHands-on experience in ServiceNow customization, form design, and UI configurationFamiliarity with Update Sets, Scoped Applications, and System PropertiesExcellent debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skillsStrong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment
