Job Title: Privacy and Legal Compliance SpecialistWe are seeking a highly experienced legal professional to oversee our organisation's privacy, legal compliance, internal audits, and operational privacy management.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement comprehensive privacy compliance strategies in accordance with global data protection laws and regulations.Conduct regular privacy and data protection audits across all campuses; identify risks, recommend, and track remediation measures.Coordinate with operational teams to ensure robust processes for the compliant handling of personal data, and provide legal and strategic advice on privacy issues.Draft, review, and update privacy policies, procedures, and notices tailored for educational settings.Review and negotiate customer and vendor contracts, including drafting and negotiating data processing agreements.Conduct privacy impact assessments.Organize and deliver ongoing privacy awareness and training for employees and faculty members.Respond to data subject requests and complaints concerning data privacy.Requirements:Applicants must have a strong background in law, preferably in data protection and privacy.
