Job Title: Technical Proficiency EvaluatorAt Revature, we are seeking a skilled Technical Proficiency Evaluator to join our team. This role involves assessing learners' technical proficiency in data engineering, analytics, and cloud data platforms. The successful candidate will design and execute comprehensive assessments, including quizzes, coding challenges, and practical exercises, to evaluate learners' understanding of concepts and ability to apply them.The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or Data Analyst, with strong proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and data analysis. Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, and Power BI is highly desirable. Good understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines, DataOps, and data warehousing best practices is essential. Familiarity with Python or R for scripting, data validation, or analysis is also required.Responsibilities:Design and execute quality audit frameworks for professional training programsConduct structured technical interviews to evaluate learners' proficiency in SQL, data engineering principles, Databricks, Snowflake, and Power BIDevelop comprehensive assessments including quizzes and coding challenges and practical exercises to evaluate learners' understanding of the concepts and ability to apply themReview and validate coding challenges by validating SQL queries, Python scripts, and data transformation logic, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standardsEvaluate end-to-end data engineering and analytics projects, including ETL/ELT pipelines, data models, and Power BI dashboardsDeliver clear, actionable feedback that identifies strengths and provides guidance for technical skill enhancementDocument assessment outcomes, interview insights, and performance trends systematicallyCollaborate with trainers to share insights on learner performance and work towards enhancing training outcomesExperience and Skills Required:3-5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or Data AnalystStrong proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and data analysisExperience with Databricks, Snowflake, and Power BIGood understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines, DataOps, and data warehousing best practicesFamiliarity with Python or R for scripting, data validation, or analysisWorking knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCPStrong analytical thinking, attention to detail, communication, and coaching abilitiesRevature is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from all qualified candidates.
