Key Responsibilities:Accurately evaluate complete loan documents and make informed approval or denial decisions.Conduct a thorough review of credit reports to verify trade lines, derogatory accounts, public records, and credit reconciliation.Perform comprehensive income calculations, including salaried income, business income, retired other income, and rental income.Conduct a detailed review of collateral and property valuation.Verify assets, including bank account statements, retirement accounts, mutual funds, and other investments.Apply credit analysis based on borrower's Income, Asset, Liability, and Collateral (4C of Underwriting) to determine the credit worthiness of a customer.Validate and process loan documents on behalf of a mortgage lender organization.Evaluate evidence of borrower's willingness and ability to repay the obligation.Requirements:Minimum 3 years of experience in US mortgage underwriting.Proven track record of making accurate and informed decisions.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Benefits:The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work with a leading mortgage lender organization and contribute to the success of our team.Why Choose Us:We offer a dynamic and supportive work environment, opportunities for career growth and development, and a competitive compensation package.
