Job Description:


This role is with one of our clients which is a Pune-based consultancy specializing in establishing Digital Engineering practices and building the digital tapestry in organizations through formal Systems Engineering methodologies. With integrated digital engineering solutioning we assist organizations to solve engineering problems, embrace emerging technologies and achieve operational excellence. Currently the company engages with various industry domains such as aerospace, automotive, industrial equipment manufacturing and typically with large OEMs, MNCs and PSUs. This role is in the aerospace domain.


Position: Systems Engineer - PLM/CM


Location: Bangalore or Pune


We are seeking enthusiastic engineers to join our team working on systems engineering and MBSE adoption in MedTech Projects. As CM / PLM Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and traceability of all product or system configurations throughout their lifecycle. This role is critical in controlling and documenting the structure, design, and changes of physical and digital configuration items. 


Responsibilities 

  • Conduct as-is analysis of CM / PLM needs, tool & infrastructure 
  • Define CM / PLM strategy 
  • Define a framework to establish and maintain the Configuration Item List (CIL) and baselines, including functional, allocated, and product baselines. 
  • Define configuration items (CIs) such as components, assemblies, systems, and associated documents. 
  • Define a framework and workflow for CCBs to manage with digital engineering principles 
  • Provide training and guidance on CM policies and tools to internal teams. 


Qualifications and Experience (Must have): 

  • Bachelor’s degree (Mechanical / Electronics) with 5 years of experience OR Master’s degree with 3 year of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Working experience with CM / PLM (eg. Teamcenter) environment 


Technical Skills (Good to have): 

  • Knowledge of standards such as ISO 13485, ISO 10007, ANSI/EIA-649, or similar CM guidelines. 
  • Internship experience 
  • Background with MBSE / PLM / Requirements tools added advantage 


Soft Skills (Must have): 

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams. 
  • Ability to analyze and document complex systems. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a methodical approach. 
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
