You will work closely with cross functional teams to design robust solutions, optimize performance and ensure smooth integration across systems.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and maintain backend systems and microservices using Java/J2EE technologiesBuild and manage RESTful APIs for application and system integrationDesign and optimize database schemas to ensure efficient and secure data managementTroubleshoot and resolve performance, scalability and reliability challengesImplement security best practices and protect backend systems from vulnerabilitiesIntegrate with third party services and external APIsEnsure high code quality through unit and integration testingParticipate in code reviews and provide technical mentorshipCollaborate with internal teams to translate business needs into technical solutionsRequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related fieldMinimum 8 years of experience in backend software development using Java/J2EEStrong knowledge of Java EE technologies such as Servlets, JSP, JDBC, JMS and EJBExpertise in Spring, Spring Boot and Microservices ArchitectureExperience with relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL or Oracle and SQL optimizationHands on experience with Git, Maven/Gradle and CI/CD pipelinesWorking knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP and containerization tools like Docker and KubernetesExposure to Confluent Kafka Cloud, Azure Services, Redis Cache and GIS will be an added advantageExcellent analytical, communication and problem solving skillsWhy Join UsOpportunity to work on cutting edge backend technologiesCollaborative and inclusive work environmentExposure to modern cloud and DevOps practicesA culture that values learning, innovation, and growth
