Automation Test Lead Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Automation QA Test Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, Selenium, and API testing.Job Responsibilities:Design and implement automated tests for web and mobile applications using Selenium and BDD frameworks.Create and maintain test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API projects.Experience in API Testing & API Automation & Good knowledge of Postman / RestAssured/karate (any one the rest can be trained if not available)Expected to be proficient in one of the test BDD frameworks Cucumber.Good knowledge of Git, Jenkins knowledge.Experience in enhancing & developing of API/Web Service automation framework.Write and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.Experience with Atlassian s Jira & any Test management tools.Execute test cases and report defects in a timely manner.Experience in estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating testing activities.Strong ability to perform functional integration testing of all integration points between the applications, components, and services.Perform end-to-end manual testing where features and user stories are tested in their entirety.Identify and track defects, and work with the development team to resolve them.Integrate test suites into the test management system and custom test harnesses.Collaborate with the development team to ensure that the product meets the requirements and is of high quality.Participate in product demos and release reviews.Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.Stay current with new testing tools and technologies.Requirements & Skills:Functional Requirement Gathering: Min 8 yearsSelenium BDD Automation: Min 8+ yearsCucumber: Min 4+ yearsCore Java: Min 6 +YearsAPI automation: Min 4 years (Karate, rest assured)GIT: Min 1 yearOther-skills:Automation Framework Implementation: Min 5 yearGradle/maven: Min 5 yearsJenkins: Min 4 yearsPostman: Min 2 yearsDatabase Testing: 2 YearsNice to have:Mobile Automation (Appium, Calabash..etc): Min 2 yearsKarate API Framework KnowledgeExperience in Splunk: Min 1 year
