Job Opportunity: Sales Engineer - AutomationThe Sales Engineer plays a pivotal role in driving end-to-end sales development, from opportunity identification and client engagement to proposal preparation, negotiation, and order closure. This encompasses various domains including Building Management Systems (BMS), Industrial Automation, and Electronic Lighting & Visualisation (ELV). The role requires a solid technical understanding of leading automation platforms like Schneider, Siemens, Honeywell, and Allen-Bradley, alongside the ability to translate technical requirements into tailored commercial proposals.Key Responsibilities:New Business Development: Identify, pursue, and develop new business opportunities across BMS, Industrial Automation, and ELV domains PAN India.Customer Engagement: Engage with consultants, contractors, facility management teams, and end-clients to understand project requirements and propose suitable solutions.Tech Evaluations: Conduct site surveys, requirement analysis, and technical evaluations to prepare accurate solution offerings.Proposal Development: Develop and present technical proposals, system architectures, Bills of Quantity (BOQs), compliance statements, and cost estimations aligned with Schneider, Siemens, and Allen-Bradley automation platforms.Tender Submission: Prepare and manage tender submissions ensuring full compliance with project specifications, drawings, and scope documents.Presentation & Demonstration: Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and solution briefings to support client decision-making.Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales cycle, including lead generation, proposal submission, follow-up, negotiation, and order finalization.Customer Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure long-term engagement and repeat business.Project Coordination: Coordinate with design, engineering, procurement, and project teams to ensure accurate handover and seamless project initiation after order confirmation.CRM & Sales Tracking: Track and maintain CRM entries, sales pipelines, forecasts, and opportunity status for internal reporting.Market Trends & Competitor Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and pricing strategies to strengthen company positioning.Industry Events Participation: Participate in industry events, exhibitions, and product launches to promote company solutions and capabilities.OEM Compliance: Ensure all submitted proposals and offered solutions comply with OEM guidelines, safety standards, and internal quality processes.Performance Metrics: Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets while maintaining high levels of professionalism and customer satisfaction.
