: To plan the efficient operation and process for technical services department and ensure their maximum uptime. To review all the preventive maintenance plans with respect to manpower & time (planned by maintenance/Hardware/instrumentation Managers) activities for all equipments at the plant. To oversee the execution of those plans with respect to safety norms, statutory compliance, inspection & trials by the entire team To review any new projects and installation issues (if required) To review the inventory control of critical parts while ensuring minimum waste of money & storage space To manage and ensure that all the instruments at the plant are calibrated to ISO specification. To supervise the maintenance of all the existing and new instruments as scheduled To train and conduct interventions whenever required for the team effectiveness, productivity and ensure maximum output. To approve the critical spares as & when required by the department to minimize cost
