We are building scalable, reliable, and intuitive products to make astrology and wellness accessible to everyone.About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Node.js Developer with strong expertise in WebSockets and REST API development. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in building real-time applications, scalable backend services, and integrating complex APIs. You will work closely with the product and frontend teams to deliver high-performance, reliable, and secure systems.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.Build and manage real-time communication systems using WebSockets/Socket.IO.Optimize API performance, scalability, and security.Integrate third-party services, APIs, and authentication systems.Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration.Implement logging, monitoring, and error handling for APIs and WebSocket services.Maintain code quality through testing, code reviews, and best practices.Required Skills & Qualifications5+ years of professional experience in Node.js backend development.Proven expertise in RESTful API design and WebSocket-based real-time applications.Strong knowledge of Express.js, NestJS, or similar frameworks.Hands-on experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).Familiarity with authentication & authorization (JWT, OAuth2, session management).Experience with scalability, performance tuning, and security best practices.Solid understanding of Git, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).Nice to HaveExperience with Socket.IO, Kafka, or RabbitMQ for real-time and event-driven systems.Exposure to GraphQL.Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes for deployments.Why Join AstroCure?Be part of a purpose-driven startup blending technology with holistic wellness.Opportunity to work on impactful, high-growth, real-time applications.Growth-focused culture with continuous learning and upskilling.Flexible work environment: Chennai or Remote.šŸ“© Interested candidates can share their resume at:rashmilohiya@astrocure.co.in
