Cloud Cost Optimization SpecialistWe are seeking an accomplished Cloud Cost Optimization Specialist to spearhead our cloud financial operations, cost modeling, automation, and AI-enhanced optimization initiatives. As a key member of our engineering team, you will collaborate closely with various teams to enhance cloud cost efficiency, forecast spending, and build automated workflows.Main Responsibilities:Oversee comprehensive cost optimization of AWS and Azure cloud services and infrastructureAnalyze AWS and Azure billing data, usage data from asset inventory, and monitoring utilization data to assess Engineering teams' cloud consumption, identify wasteful spend, and provide actionable insights to optimize spendConduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in spending and financial performanceInvestigate cost overruns and optimization opportunities through data-driven analysisDevelop and maintain cost optimization strategies, roadmaps, and forecasting modelsTechnical Leadership & Automation:Automate tasks using serverless products on AWS (Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge) and Azure (Functions, Logic Apps, Event Grid), Python, Terraform, etc., to repeat analysis, data collection, recommendation generation, and track benefit implementation to reduce cost overrunsCreate and maintain cost attribution models to specific cost centers and automated reporting dashboardsImplement cloud cost governance frameworks and best practicesKey Qualifications:Expertise in cloud financial operations, cost modeling, automation, and AI-enhanced optimizationProficiency in programming languages such as Python, Terraform, etc.Familiarity with cloud providers like AWS and AzureStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsBenefits:Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologiesCollaborative and dynamic work environmentOngoing training and professional developmentPotential for career growth and advancement
