GPU.net is building cutting-edge infrastructure for high-performance trading and DeFi innovation. We’re seeking a Perp Trading Engineer who can move fast, ship fast, and integrate perpetual DEX liquidity into a seamless, unified trading experience.

What You’ll Do
  • Architect and implement low-latency integrations with perpetual DEX APIs (e.g., Hyperliquid, Aster, Drift, Jupiter).
  • Build a unified liquidity layer for perps, enabling efficient routing and execution.
  • Work on backend services for real-time trading, risk, and settlement systems.
  • Collaborate with infra engineers to optimize performance, scalability, and fault tolerance.
  • Research, test, and deploy DeFi-native trading infrastructure with a focus on order books, perpetuals, and margin trading.
Must-Have Skills
  • Strong backend engineering skills in Rust / Go / TypeScript / Node.js.
  • Experience with Web3 development and understanding of smart contract interaction.
  • Hands-on exposure to perp DEX APIs (Hyperliquid, Aster, dYdX, etc.).
  • Knowledge of distributed infra (Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL, validator ops).
  • Familiarity with DeFi trading mechanics: order books, perpetuals, margin systems.
  • Ability to ship quickly in fast-paced environments.
Nice-to-Have
  • Experience with high-frequency trading (HFT) systems.
  • Contributions to open-source DeFi projects.
  • Exposure to React/Next.js for frontend dashboards (bonus).
