Job Summary:


The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing special projects within the organisation. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope & on budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management. It is essential that the excel as a tool is an absolute second nature to the candidate. We are an Excel-first work place.


Key Responsibilities:


Project Planning and Execution:

Develop project plans, timelines and budgets for various initiatives.

Coordinate with resources and manage project teams to ensure successful delivery.

Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as needed.

Ensure execution timelines are met through timely reporting, group-wide escalations, organising regular stand-ups and reaching out to senior management for support.


Stakeholder Management:

Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. : operations, marketing, finance & HR) and external vendors.

Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and leadership from time to time.

Detail number implications in an excel


Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process enhancements to improve operational efficiency.

Implement best practices and innovative solutions within the company.


Compliance and Standards:

Ensure all projects adhere to company policies, industry regulations and safety standards.

Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.


Budget Management:

Track project expenses and ensure alignment with budgetary guidelines.

Prepare financial reports and forecasts for ongoing projects.


Training and Development:

Assist in the development of training materials and programs for staff related to new initiatives.

Support the implementation of training to ensure smooth transitions during project rollouts.



Qualifications:


Master’s degree in business administration.

8+ years of project management experience, preferably in the Food Service /Retail business.

Strong understanding of P&L, Operations, SCM, logistics & customer service principles.

Proficiency in analytics and project management software and tools

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills with can do attitude.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.

PMP certification is a plus.
