Job OpportunityWe're seeking a skilled software developer to join our team as a backend engineer.This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining production-ready microservices using Spring Boot 3.x for high-performance and scalable application functionality.Main Responsibilities:Design and develop efficient data models and CRUD operations utilizing Google Cloud Firestore as the primary NoSQL data store.Implement complex integrations, focusing on Firebase Admin SDK for authentication/security and the Stripe Java SDK for critical flows like Identity Verification and secure webhook processing.Develop robust, secure, and scalable RESTful APIs to support all features of the mobile application.Ensure code quality standards are maintained through comprehensive unit and integration tests (JUnit 5, Mockito, Testcontainers with Firestore Emulator) and enforced via GitHub Actions CI pipelines.Maintain security posture by ensuring all API endpoints are secured using the custom Firebase ID token filter, enforcing Token UID match, and handling sensitive data/webhook signatures securely.Collaborate closely with founders to optimize services for performance and reliability.About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a cutting-edge resale platform.
