Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled SMT Programmer to join our team.The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of programs within established times, ensuring compliance with cell-set deadlines for new product introductions and existing improvements.This role involves working closely with manufacturing engineers and technicians to develop and implement SMT programs, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Detailed Job Requirements and Responsibilities:Comply with program requests in accordance with new product introductions in each workcellMaintain a variation of +/- 1% of quoted time in SMT programs as per specifications set monthlyProvide assistance in modification, optimization, and line balancing requests by ME's and MS's as requiredUpdate all SMT backup information monthlyImplement the MES QM system use in the area of manufacturing engineering in accordance with new product introductions set by upper managementAchieve -0- discrepancies in the definition or adjustment of internal systems as new platforms for SMT equipment are installedTrain manufacturing engineering technicians in the generation of programs and visual aids using Valor softwareTrain Manufacturing Engineers in the generation of process routes in the MES systemImplement at least one Engineering improvement projectKey Skills and Qualifications:Strong knowledge of global logistics operations and industryProficiency in determining logistics requirements to enable business goals and objectivesStrong financial and analytical abilityKnowledge of international direct and indirect taxes, as well as global customs regimesProven track record of successful change management accomplishmentsStrong communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)Education and Experience Requirements:2 years of experience in SMT and TH processes, programming SMT/TH equipment
