About the RoleOur organization is seeking an experienced PHP Developer with a strong CodeIgniter background to fill this Production Support position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and smooth functioning of our live applications.Key Responsibilities:Provide Level 2/Level 3 production support for applications built using PHP & CodeIgniter.Troubleshoot and resolve application bugs, performance bottlenecks, database issues, and server-level problems.Monitor application logs, identify root causes, and implement long-term fixes.Handle Linux server operations, including log analysis, file permissions, cron jobs, and deployment activities.Collaborate closely with internal development, QA, and DevOps teams for smooth releases and issue resolution.Coordinate with clients to understand issues, gather requirements, and provide timely updates and solutions.Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements timelines, quality standards, and documentation practices.Required Skills and Qualifications:Mandatory: Strong hands-on experience with CodeIgniter Framework and PHP.Proficiency in MySQL – writing queries, joins, debugging slow queries, and database optimization.Solid working knowledge of Linux environments (Ubuntu/CentOS) – logs, configurations, server troubleshooting, user management, etc.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly.Good understanding of Model-View-Controller architecture, REST APIs, and application lifecycle.Ability to work under pressure and prioritize issues based on impact and urgency.Nice to Have (Optional):Experience with API integration (REST/SOAP).Familiarity with Git or other version control tools.Knowledge of performance tuning or basic DevOps concepts.
