Job Title: Microsoft Server AdministratorLocation: Dayananda Sagar University (DSU) – Central IT TeamRole Overview:We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Server Administrator to manage and maintain core serverinfrastructure across DSU and its associated campuses. The ideal candidate will have hands-onexperience in configuring and administering Windows Server environments, including ActiveDirectory, DHCP, DNS, and patch management.Key Responsibilities:• Configure, manage, and maintain Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022).• Setup and administer Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS).• Manage DHCP scopes, reservations, and IP address allocation.• Configure and maintain DNS zones, records, and name resolution.• Implement Group Policies (GPOs) for user and device management.• Monitor server performance, availability, and security.• Perform patch updates, backups, and disaster recovery planning.• Maintain documentation of server configurations and change logs.• Collaborate with network and security teams for integrated infrastructure support.• Provide L2/L3 support for server-related issues.• Ensure compliance with institutional IT policies and audit requirements.Required Skills & Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Microsoft server administration.• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, GPOs.• Experience with PowerShell scripting is a plus.• Familiarity with server virtualization (Hyper-V/VMware).• Certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, or Microsoft Certified: Windows Server HybridAdministrator Associate preferred.• Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.Date: 19-11-2025Dr. D.
