Job Description: Field EngineerPosition Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Engineer to join our team. The Field Engineer will be responsible for providing on-site technical support, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer service across assigned regions. This role involves frequent travel, direct client interaction, and ensuring the highest standards of operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation & CommissioningAssist in Installation, configuration, and commissioning equipment, systems, or solutions at client sites.Ensure proper calibration and testing before handover.Maintenance & TroubleshootingPerform routine preventive and corrective maintenance.Diagnose and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime.Escalate complex problems to higher-level support when required.Customer SupportAct as the first point of contact for clients during field visits.Provide training and guidance to customers on system usage.Maintain professional communication and ensure customer satisfaction.Documentation & ReportingMaintain accurate records of site activities, service reports, and client feedback.Prepare and submit necessary service reports and checklists, duly acknowledged by the customer.Update system logs, service history, and escalate recurring issues.Collaboration & ComplianceCoordinate with internal teams (engineering, sales, and support) for seamless service delivery.Follow all safety protocols and compliance requirements during field operations.Learning & DevelopmentAttend trainings as and when nominated.Continuously enhance technical knowledge and develop expertise to grow into senior roles.Work FlexibilityBe available to work during weekends and extended hours when required; compensatory off will be provided as per company policy.Qualifications & Skills : for experienced candidatesITI, Bachelor’s/Diploma in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Computer Science / relevant discipline).Proven experience in field engineering, technical support, or related roles.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Hands-on experience with installation, testing, and servicing of relevant systems/equipment.Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.Willingness to travel extensively and work in diverse environments.Qualifications & Skills : for fresh candidatesITI, Bachelor’s/Diploma in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Computer Science / relevant discipline).Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.Willingness to travel extensively and work in diverse environments.Preferred AttributesCertifications in relevant systems technologies Adaptability to fast-paced and dynamic environments.Reporting ToTL / Manager – Customer Service/ Project Manager / Regional Head
