Key Responsibilities:As a Network Development Engineer, your primary focus will be on designing and developing network solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. This role requires strong technical expertise in network architecture, including TCP/IP, BGP, and MPLS.Specifically, you will be responsible for:Designing and developing standalone features and enhancements for our network infrastructureLeading and supporting network build, upgrade, and migration projects to ensure seamless transitions to new technologiesImplementing, maintaining, and supporting cloud-based Network SaaS components in alignment with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)Collaborating with program and project managers to define milestones, deliverables, and execution plansTechnical Requirements:The ideal candidate will possess advanced-level expertise in multiple network operating systems, including Cisco IOS, NX-OS, and TMOS. Strong operational knowledge of internet routing protocols and core networking concepts is also essential. Additionally, proficiency in network automation and DevOps practices, with experience using tools and languages such as Python, Ansible, Chef, Docker, Terraform, Perl, JavaScript, JSON, REST, iControl, Bash, YAML, XML, and iControlRest, is highly desirable.Required Qualifications:Experience: 4+ years of professional experience supporting carrier-grade, IP-based ISP, web-scale, on-premises datacenter, and cloud-provider network infrastructures.Education: Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field or equivalent hands-on experience in large-scale network environments.Skills: Advanced-level expertise with multiple network operating systems; Strong operational knowledge of internet routing protocols and core networking concepts; Proficiency in network automation and DevOps practices.Preferred Skills and Experience:Working knowledge of databases such as Oracle Database, SQL Server, MySQL, or PL/SQL; Hands-on experience with traffic management and load balancing technologies; Experience supporting DNS infrastructure and services; Proficiency working in Linux/Unix environments for network operations and troubleshooting.Our team operates with agility and flexibility, requiring collaborative problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.
