This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in both manual and automated testing to drive quality assurance processes in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:QA Process & Methodologies:Take ownership of the complete QA process including understanding project requirements, designing test cases, executing tests, and managing defect triaging.Drive the end-to-end testing process ensuring high-quality delivery within defined timelines.Test Execution & Reporting:Lead and execute manual and automated tests for UI, API, and iOS-based applications.Monitor and track testing progress, identifying issues early in the development cycle.Generate and share detailed status reports on the progress of testing, defects, and risks with stakeholders.Automation Testing:Create and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate tools for UI (Selenium), API (Postman, Rest Assured, Karate), and iOS apps (Appium).Develop and enhance automation frameworks to ensure scalability and efficiency in testing.Test Documentation:Create, maintain, and execute detailed test plans, test strategies, and test cases based on project requirements.Ensure comprehensive documentation for testing efforts, ensuring all aspects of the application are covered.Communication with Business Owners:Collaborate with business owners and other stakeholders to ensure clarity in project requirements and provide updates on the status of testing efforts.Effectively communicate risks, issues, and testing progress to business and technical stakeholders.Skills & Qualifications:Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing.Automation Tools: Proficient in Selenium for UI testing, Postman or Rest Assured for API testing, and Appium for iOS-based mobile testing.Manual Testing: Strong understanding and experience in creating detailed test cases, performing manual testing, and handling defect tracking.Test Documentation: Ability to create clear and concise test plans, strategies, and test case documentation.Communication: Strong communication skills to interact with business owners, developers, and project stakeholders.QA Methodologies: Well-versed in QA methodologies, Agile practices, and the complete software testing lifecycle.Defect Management: Experience in defect triaging and tracking using tools like Jira, Bugzilla, etc.Version Control: Familiar with using Git for version control and collaboration in test script development.SQL Skills: Basic knowledge of SQL to perform data validation and database testing.About StatusneoWe accelerate your business transformation by leveraging best fit CLOUD NATIVE technologies wherever feasible.
