Leadership Role for Climate Smart Dairy InitiativesThis is a leadership position that will play a key role in enhancing scientific and technical collaboration and research related to climate smart dairy initiatives in India.The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting multi-disciplinary research and implementation projects across livestock and dairy, providing technical and scientific support to implementation partners.This role involves cross-functional collaboration, technical capacity building, partner engagement, project management, time zone coordination, communications, and equity and inclusion.Cross-Functional Collaboration: The role requires working closely with various stakeholders to enhance technical, scientific, and operational capacity and act as a liaison between the organization and partners.Technical Capacity Building: The ideal candidate will provide technical and scientific support to implementation partners, contribute to landscape assessments of livestock and dairy sector challenges, and provide insights and analysis to inform decision-making.Partner Engagement: This involves building and maintaining relationships with local partners, dairy companies, milk cooperatives, technical and scientific research institutions, stakeholders, and governmental agencies.This is a 2-year term hire position, requiring travel up to 50% and full-time employment. The ideal candidate will thrive in a cross-functional environment, balancing scientific insights with action research to achieve wins for people and planet.
