For more information, visit Lowes IndiaAbout the Team The Transportation Team in India is a part of the larger team that operates in Mooresville, NC USA. We support our Mooresville team with various operational activities as well as with their data gathering efforts, reporting requirements, insight generation activities and business problem solving. Our operations span across, Freight Pay, System Maintenance and Exception Management. We also develop, maintain and distribute reports and KPIs for Purchase Orders, Carriers and the 3PL partners operating nodes within our network. We also work on projects that help improve our space utilization while shipping products, operational efficiency at our nodes as well as optimize and save costs in Transportation operations.Job SummaryTransportation Senior Analyst works closely with several of our stakeholders in the global team to define, understand and solve retail supply chain and transportation problems. In this role, you are expected to partner with HQ as well as field teams to understand business problems, draft the requirements clearly and work towards solving the problems through analytical solutions that deliver business value. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing analytical best practices, analyzing large data sets and extracting key observations as well as generating accurate and actionable insights. You are also expected to work closely with our operations team to gain the required functional knowledge as well as to groom/mentor the analyst talent pool within the team.
