A Data Scientist plays a vital role in extracting valuable insights from data to drive business decisions.At Aventis Technology, we are seeking an experienced Data Scientist with 5–7 years of expertise in applied machine learning, statistical modeling, and data analytics.About the RoleThis is a remote position that can be part-time or full-time. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) and SQL, as well as proficiency in ML algorithms such as tree-based models, logistic regression, clustering (k-means), time-series, uplift modeling, etc.ResponsibilitiesDevelop predictive and statistical models to classify, regress, uplift, cluster, and forecast various phenomena.Design feature-engineering pipelines using large datasets from diverse sources.Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, segment behaviors, and uncover business opportunities.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define analytical requirements.Design and evaluate experiments, supporting experimentation frameworks.Create production-ready model pipelines in collaboration with ML engineers.Monitor model performance, drift, and impact on KPIs over time.Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Requirements5–7 years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Applied Analytics.Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or Databricks.Familiarity with MLOps fundamentals and model deployment workflows.Strong statistics, probability, hypothesis testing, and experiment design understanding.Experience with telecom analytics is a plus.Recommender systems, reinforcement learning, or simulation models exposure is also welcome.We OfferA challenging and rewarding work environment where you can apply your skills and expertise to make a meaningful impact.
