Job Title: PeopleSoft Functional Tester
Location: Remote
Job Type: Full-time
Timings: 7:30PM to 3:30AM IST(9-5PM EST)
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced PeopleSoft Functional Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of PeopleSoft applications, specifically HRMS and FSCM modules, and be proficient in functional testing methodologies.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute test cases and test scripts for PeopleSoft HRMS and FSCM applications.
- Conduct functional testing to ensure the system meets business requirements.
- Identify and document defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
- Perform regression testing to ensure new changes do not impact existing functionality.
- Collaborate with business analysts and developers to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
- Maintain test data and test environments.
- Participate in requirement gathering sessions and provide feedback on system usability.
- Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on testing progress and results.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a PeopleSoft Functional Tester or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft HRMS and FSCM modules.
- Experience with functional testing methodologies and tools.
- Ability to write clear and concise test cases and scripts.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) modules.
- Familiarity with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP).
- Knowledge of SQL and database management.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
