We are seeking an experienced SAP HANA Consultant with a strong understanding of retail value chains in fashion and FMCG sectors. The role involves mapping retail business processes and operational touchpoints onto the SAP HANA ecosystem, enabling real-time analytics, seamless operations, and strategic transformation initiatives.Key Responsibilities:AreaResponsibilitiesRetail Process MappingMap retail operations—including procurement, merchandising, inventory, pricing, and customer behavior—to SAP HANA data models and processes.SAP HANA ImplementationLead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP HANA architecture aligned with business goals in fashion and FMCG.Touchpoint IntegrationIdentify and map SAP touchpoints across retail functions: POS, CRM, ERP, Supply Chain, eCommerce, and Customer Loyalty systems.Data Modeling & ReportingDesign HANA models (Attribute/Analytic/Calculation Views) to support business KPIs, product lifecycle, consumer trends, and promotion analysis.Performance OptimizationMonitor and optimize SAP HANA database performance, ensuring high-speed transactions and real-time analytics.Stakeholder CollaborationWork closely with retail planners, supply chain managers, category heads, and IT teams to ensure business alignment.Change ManagementSupport adoption of HANA-driven processes through training, documentation, and end-user support.Key Skills & Competencies:Deep knowledge of SAP HANA architecture and native HANA developmentProficiency in SAP Retail, SAP FMS (Fashion Management Solution) or SAP CAR (Customer Activity Repository)Experience with FMCG retail operations: supplier management, category planning, demand forecastingExposure to Omnichannel retail touchpointsExpertise in SLT, SDI, SDA, BW/4HANA integrationsAdvanced SQLScript and data modeling capabilitiesExperience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and Fiori appsFamiliarity with POS DM, loyalty, and customer engagement systemsStrong communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skillsPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Retail Management5–8 years of SAP consulting experience with 3+ years in HANA-specific projectsSAP Certification in HANA, S/4HANA Retail or FMS is a plusDomain experience in fashion retail, FMCG supply chains, or ecommerce platformsExample Projects the Consultant May Work On:ProjectSAP HANA RoleFashion Collection Launch DashboardReal-time sales & stock visibility using HANA views and SAC dashboardsFMCG Trade Promotion OptimizationModeling customer behavior and ROI using POS & loyalty dataOmnichannel Inventory SyncReal-time stock updates across warehouses and stores using SLT to SAP HANACustomer Sentiment & Sales CorrelationIntegration of external sentiment data with sales for SKU planningLet me know if you'd like this formatted as a recruitment flyer, onboarding doc, or JD post for LinkedIn/Indeed.
