Structural Steel Detailer - CAD SpecialistAbout the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Structural Steel Detailer with expertise in Autodesk Advance Steel to support the design, detailing, and documentation of steel structures.This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for developing and managing 3D models from concept to fabrication drawings without direct supervision.Key Responsibilities:Develop and manage 3D models in Autodesk Advance Steel for structural steel projects.Produce fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, BOMs, and workshop documentation.Ensure models and drawings meet project specifications, industry standards, and internal quality requirements.Coordinate with structural engineers and workshops to resolve design issues.Review and update drawings based on redlines, design revisions, and client feedback.Maintain organized project files and ensure consistent naming conventions and workflows.Support the optimization of internal CAD standards and modeling procedures.Requirements:Proven experience as a Structural Steel Detailer or CAD Operator working with Autodesk Advance Steel (mandatory).Strong understanding of structural steel components, connections, and fabrication processes.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.Familiarity with industry standards related to steel structures (EN only).Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail — mistakes here can have significant consequences.Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Good English communication skills for technical documentation and coordination.Nice to Have:Knowledge of CNC data export, CAM integration, or workshop processes.Experience with parametric modeling or customization in Advance Steel.Background in civil, mechanical, or structural engineering.What We Offer:A challenging role where your output directly impacts real projects.Modern tools, fast decision-making, and a team that values competence.Growth opportunities in advanced modeling, automation, and digital fabrication.
