Job OverviewThe Data Engineer position revolves around preparing, validating, and ensuring the quality of data required for efficient operations. Key responsibilities include working on pipelines, transformations, and automation to ensure accurate entity mappings and reliable data for business dashboards.Key Responsibilities:Perform data transformations to enable entity-level tagging across lookup tables.Build pipelines or automation scripts to validate and maintain mapping accuracy.Collaborate with Backend Engineers to ensure schema updates are correctly populated with data.Support RBAC rollout by ensuring clean and consistent datasets flow into Looker.Work closely with Platform Engineers to align the LookML layer with validated data.Required Skills & Qualifications:Strong SQL and Python skills for data transformation.Hands-on experience with BigQuery (data structures, partitioning, optimization).LookML experience for validating datasets and ensuring semantic consistency.Experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., dbt, Dataflow, Composer).Strong understanding of data quality frameworks and validation techniques.5-7+ years of experience in data engineering.Benefits & Opportunities:Opportunity to work with a highly skilled team of engineers.Chance to develop and implement innovative data solutions.Professional growth opportunities in a dynamic environment.
