Procurement Manager for Electronic ComponentsThis is an exciting opportunity to lead the procurement of electronic components, driving a robust supply chain that supports innovative product development and high-volume production.Manage end-to-end procurement processes for electronic components such as semiconductors, capacitors, resistors, PCBs, and power modules, ensuring timely availability for production.Negotiate contracts and pricing with global suppliers to achieve cost efficiencies and quality standards aligned with power electronics specifications.Develop strategies to reduce lead times and mitigate risks like component obsolescence by analyzing market trends and forecasting demand.Evaluate and develop supplier relationships, conducting regular performance audits to maintain compliance with ISO standards and environmental policies.Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to integrate procurement insights into product design, supporting innovation in power efficiency and reliability.Optimize inventory levels using ERP systems to minimize stock without excess, targeting a 95% on-time delivery rate.Required Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.At least 8-10 years of progressive experience in procurement, with at least 5 years focused on electronic components in manufacturing environments.Demonstrated success in strategic sourcing for high-tech sectors, preferably power electronics or automotive electronics.Proficiency in procurement tools like SAP, Ariba, or similar, and advanced Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
