Key responsibilities include preparing accurate financial statements, leading tax strategy, managing budgeting and forecasting, and supervising accounting operations.Financial Reporting: Oversee preparation of accurate financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flows) under Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), conduct variance analysis, and deliver monthly/quarterly reports to leadership.Tax Strategy: Lead tax strategy, planning, compliance, and filings for federal, state, sales/use, payroll, and property taxes; optimize liabilities through credits, deductions, and transfer pricing while mitigating audit risks.Accounting Operations: Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, internal/external audits, and internal controls; identify cost savings and process improvements.Requirements:Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license with 150 credit hours.Seven+ years in corporate finance/controller roles, with three+ years focused on US tax compliance and GAAP reporting.
